International Students

Gettysburg Seminary is blessed to have among its community students from across the globe.  The Seminary regularly receives students from sister synods in the Lutheran World Federation, as well as leaders from other global churches.  This rich diversity fosters a more intimate connection with the body of Christ in the world and better equips all students to be public witnesses and leaders of God's church.

Application and Financial Aid for Lutheran International Students

International applicants who are Lutheran are encouraged to apply through their church body for an ELCA International Scholarship from the ELCA Global Mission unit.  The complete application to the ELCA Global Mission unit can also serve as an application for admission to Gettysburg Seminary.  The Seminary works in partnership with ELCA Global Mission to determine priorities for financial aid.

International Students are encouraged to submit their application one-year in advance of study to allow ample time for application processing and granting of a study visa and other needed documents.

Application and Financial Aid for Members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Finland
