Robin J. Steinke Dean's Fund
This fund was established to honor Dr. Steinke's service as Dean and her years of dedicated service to our Seminary. This fund will support both the Office of the Dean and for faculty development. Steinke has served as the Dean of the seminary and Professor of Ethics and Public Life. She previously served as an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) pastor; a training manager and financial planner at American Express Financial Advisors. Steinke began her third five year term as Dean of the Seminary July 1, 2013. She started teaching at the Seminary in 1999 and directed the Seminary's Washington D.C. program, known as the Lutheran Center for Theology and public Life.

Jubilee Endowed Scholarship
The Jubilee Student Scholarship Challenge Fund was established by the Class of 2007 to help lower the rising level of education-related debt that many seminary graduates are carrying. The class set a goal of raising $50,000 for the scholarship fund through their own contributions and by inviting others to support this important effort. Subsequent classes have taken up the challenge, with the Class of 2008 seeking to raise an additional $40,000 in honor of Dr. Gerald Christianson and the Class of 2009 working to add $42,000 in honor of Dr. Bill Avery.

Folkemer Fund

This special endowment fund for faculty support honors three exemplary alumni and celebrates their distinguished service to the church. The Rev. Dr. Lawrence (Larry) Folkemer was professor of systematic theology for 25 years, and Carl and Gordon served a combined 24 years on the Seminary's Board of Directors. The Folkemer Fund will provide for the teaching of academic courses to equip seminarians with the knowledge and tools they need to provide the kind of leadership that Gordon, Larry and Carl Folkemer have exemplified.
