Diaconal Ministers are consecrated for service in ministries at the intersection of church and world. This is a ministry of Word and Service. The serving is through agencies, institutions, and traditional church programs as diaconal ministers build bridges between the church and the world.
The Seminary's Fine Arts Council takes care of the art collection, and sponsors exhibits on campus. Questions may be directed to the Office of Communication.
The Luther Institute became officially affiliated with the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 2006, but the Institute’s core values remain civility in public discourse, theological reflection on ethics and public policy issues, and respect for a wide range of voices
The Institute for Luther Studies serves the Seminary as the center that promotes in-depth study of Luther and interdisciplinary Reformation scholarship with inclusive, ecumenical, and global perspectives.
The Intersections Institute is a partnership of the Eastern Cluster of Lutheran Seminaries, social ministry organizations, and schools of business that will provide graduate and continuing education opportunities that integrate the study of theology and management to form leaders who can successfully navigate the changing environment in which the church serves all God's people.
The foundation's mission is to restore, preserve, maintain the National Historic Civil War properties, architecture and other historical legacies associated with Seminary Ridge at Gettysburg, for the benefit of the public. 
The Stewardship of Life Institute, founded in 1994, is headquartered at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Gettysburg, Pa. The Institute's mission is to serve stewardship in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America through its seminaries.
The ministry called Theological Education with Youth (TEY) is a creative initiative of two Lutheran seminaries, the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettsyburg and The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. These seminaries are joining with congregations, youth ministries and synods located primarily in Regions 7 & 8 of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to amplify the faith and witness of totally excellent high school youth.
Founded in 1981, TCCI  fosters studies of ministry within the rural landscape. Through the Concentration in Town and Country Church Ministry, TCCI helps students discern and prepare for ministry in rural and small town places. Studies in ecological ministry engender stewardship of the rural landscape and all creation. TCCI consults with leaders, congregations, synods and judicatories in rural and small town settings in an effort to strengthen the ministry of the whole church in all places.
