Seminary Holds 188th Commencement and Holy Eucharist Friday May 16

diplomas-sq.jpgThe Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg will observe Commencement followed by a service of Holy Communion completing its 188th academic year.

President Michael L. Cooper-White will address the class of 2014 during commencement ceremonies beginning at 1:30pm in the Seminary chapel. Twenty eight students will receive diplomas and three will receive certificates of study. Admission is by ticket for the one hour event. A public service including the celebration of Holy Communion begins at 4pm with special music offerings at 3:30pm also in the chapel. The worship service will feature Dr. Richard Carlson preaching and Dr. Maria Erling presiding and seminary choir and brass ensemble adding special music. The worship service is open to the public.
