Director of Information Systems and Education Technology
A graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in radio, television and film production, Don began his career helping to establish the communications program at Newberry College and was the college’s production manager for all in house video production and acted as a technical assistant to faculty teaching video and audio production classes. He also helped set up and operate the college’s first campus computer lab and developed Newberry College’s first website.
Upon moving to Gettysburg, his internet and multimedia consulting business introduced him to Gettysburg Seminary, where he developed an interactive brochure and the first website for Gettysburg Seminary. He later took a position at Gettysburg College as a programmer/analyst, this job morphed into a position as a database administrator and programmer at CNAV System, Inc. helping to developing an internet portal (CNAV) for higher education institutions.
Since all roads lead to Gettysburg, he eventually ended up back at the Seminary, where he currently serves.
